System Engineer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work Model: Hybrid (2–3 days per week on-site)
Languages: Dutch or French (C1 mínimum) + English (B2 minimum)

About the Role
We are looking for an Expert IT System Engineer with deep Kubernetes expertise to lead, guide, and enforce best practices throughout the migration from TKGI to OpenShift
Key Skills and Experience

Proven experience as an Expert IT System Engineer in Kubernetes environments.
- Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes, with strong practical experience in complex environments.
- Experience supporting complex migrations in enterprise environments.

Deep, expert knowledge of Helm and Kustomize, including the creation and maintenance of reusable templates.

Confirmed hands-on experience with OpenShift and its ecosystem.

Solid experience with GitLab, including repository structuring and CI/CD integration.

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline design, optimisation, and automation within GitOps practices.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the technical Kubernetes expert throughout the migration.

Validate designs, configurations, and compliance with GitOps standards (ArgoCD, Kustomize, Helm, Vault).

Support teams with namespace migrations and operational challenges.

Provide direct technical assistance, acting as a backup for senior engineers.

Conduct code, design, and pipeline reviews; correct faulty approaches; secure deployments.

Define and structure a clear, simple, and reproducible migration method.
